In 2020, we’ve all had to make adjustments to maintain our businesses and adapt our workflows to the new socially-distant reality we find ourselves in. Training new hires well is something that many organizations struggle with during the best of times.
Onboarding new hires can be exponentially more difficult when a trainer can’t share physical space with a new teammate. And yet this is the new norm, training must go on, and growth must continue. How do we overcome this obstacle? How do we provide context to a new hire when we can’t be in the same room with them? How do we measure training success? These questions are ones many organizations have had to ask themselves recently.
At G Squared, our onboarding and training program was centered around a physical, shared, classroom experience and that workflow had to be adapted to meet the challenges of quarantine. We, along with many of you, had to make the transition to a virtual classroom in March and we wanted to share the experience with you. To that end, we’ve created a white paper on just that very topic. We hope you find this helpful and we hope that you and yours are all healthy, happy, and thriving!
